Strengthening Ukraine's digital resilience: Oleksandr Lytvynenko took part in the opening of the Ukrainian-Estonian business forum

9A5420.jpgThe exchange of experience and technologies between Ukraine and Estonia will allow us to more resiliently withstand modern cyber threats against the background of countering Russian aggression. This was emphasized by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Lytvynenko during the opening of the Ukrainian-Estonian business forum “Exchange of Experience and Cooperation between Ukrainian and Estonian Companies”.

The speakers of the forum were Prime Minister of Estonia Kristen Mihal, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to Ukraine Anneli Kolk, Ambassador-at-Large for Cyber Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia Tanel Sepp. The dialogue was also attended by Vice Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology Development and Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Serhiy Demediuk, and top government cybersecurity experts.

0482.jpgWelcoming the attendees, Prime Minister of Estonia Kristen Mihal noted that the forum would strengthen cooperation between partner countries in the cyber sector. In addition, he emphasized that supporting Ukraine to victory will remain a priority for Estonia.

The forum featured a panel discussion on the importance of cybersecurity and international cooperation between Ukraine and Estonia. Participants shared their views on the role of cybersecurity in the long-term development of Ukraine's digital resilience, discussed the Tallinn Mechanism, a tool for cybersecurity cooperation that complements international efforts to build cyber resilience and cyber defense of Ukraine's civilian infrastructure.

1138.jpgThe event was also attended by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitalization Anton Demykhin, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation for European Integration Valeria Ionan, Head of the State Special Communications Service Oleksandr Potiy, Deputy Head of the SBU Cyber Security Department Ivan Kalabashkin and others.
