NSDC Secretary meets with British Ambassador to Ukraine

On Friday, January 10, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Lytvynenko met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom to Ukraine Martin Harris. The parties discussed the security situation, Ukraine's urgent needs to fight the Russian aggressor, as well as the impact of a full-scale war on our country's economy.

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Lytvynenko emphasized that Ukraine needs real security guarantees to establish a just and lasting peace, as well as a package of weapons sufficient to weaken the capabilities of Russia.

Ambassador Martin Harris noted that the UK believes in Ukraine's victory and emphasized that a secure Ukraine means a strong Europe and the end of the Russian Federation's capabilities.

The parties expressed hope for continued bilateral cooperation.
